An Engineering college established in 1983, Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) has been one of the leading institutes in Information Technology education and research. The college is well known as a respected institute for UG programmes in Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics & Telecom Engineering. The college also runs P.G Programmes in Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Microwave Engineering. Admissions to Pune Institute of Computer Technology(PICT) are strictly based on merit only. Undergraduate admissions are currently based on scores in the JEE-Mains 2014 conducted by C.B.S.E New Delhi/ directorate of Technical education maharashtra.

Educational Qualification

The Candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed Post-SSC or Post-HSC Diploma Course in Engineering/Technology with at least 45.00 % marks (40.00 % marks in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology from an AICTE approved Institution with English as the medium of instruction at Diploma level.

OR

The Candidate must be an Indian National and should have passed B.Sc. Degree from a UGC / Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45.00% marks (40.00 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Physically Handicapped belonging only to Maharashtra State) and passed XII standard examination with Mathematics as the subject and with English as the medium of instruction at B.Sc. level.
