Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust (PCET) was established by Late Shri. S. B. Patil in the year 1990 with a vision to provide value added educational platform to society in multiple dimensions right from Nursery to Doctoral programs in all professional streams enabling all our students to achieve Freedom through Education.
Situated at a very approachable location near Akurdi Railway Station, Nigdi, Pune, PCET is a well-established and time tested brand in Education since 1990. PCET has four institutes Pimpri-Chinchwad Polytechnic (PCP), Pimpri-Chinchwad Engineering College (PCCOE), S.B. Patil Institute of Management (SBPIM) and S.B. Patil Public School (SBPPS).
PCP, PCCOE and SBPIM are operational in Pradhikaran, Nigdi, in more than 10 Acres of land and having more than4500 students on board. The complete campus is well equipped with all latest infrastructural facilities, Sports facilities, spacious lawn and hostel facility for boys and girls. SBPPS begins to operate at Ravet, Pune, from the current academic year 2012-13 with classes from Nursery to Std. IV.
First-Year Engineering Program is the entry point for students admitted in all engineering disciplines. In first year the curriculum includes engineering mathematics, chemistry, physics, computer programming and introductory engineering subjects .
The First-Year Engineering Program provides students with a firm foundation and initial understanding of engineering career .During first year the basic concepts of Mathematics, Science and Engineering are cleared and the students are trained on applications of basic principles for solving engineering problems and designing systems and products

Eligibility Criteria For First B.E Year Engineering Admission
In order to secure admission to first year of four year degree courses in Engineering/Technology through Centralized AllotmentProcess (CAP), candidate should have,
a) Passed the HSC (std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 45 % marks i.e. 135 marks out of 300 marks (40% marks i.e. 120 marks out of 300 marks for backward class category candidates from Maharashtra) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together in HSC (std XII) or its equivalent examination.
AND
b) Ranking obtained in JEE-MAINS 2014 for Engineering / Technology degree courses.
If the seats remain vacant after JEE-MAINS qualified candidates are admitted then the candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria at (a) will be considered for admission. If the seats still remain vacant then such seats shall be offered to diploma holders. Admissions are available for NRI Candidates against Management quota/Nri quota.
